…I'M JUST THE CLAY...
To many, I am just another statistic. I come from a broken home (my dad left us for someone else when I was 7), I have been marginalised by society (I was bullied out of my first high school, and had to find a new school when I should have been learning), and I am part of a minority group (I have a religious faith). People are very quick to find labels and use them as excuses for these labels... absent fathers (not true, as my step dad is way more of a dad that I ever had!), youths, hoodies etc...
What no-one seems to be prepared to do is ditch these labels, and look beyond making me just another statistic. Many of you reading this are probably looking for labels right now for me... freak, geek, bible basher etc... fair enough. But, how many times have YOU hoped people would look beyond your clothes, or your family, and see you for who you are?
This is me... that is what I believe. I believe that God has blessed me with the ability to write songs, and share my story and experiences through my music. I am confident that without God on my side, I wouldn't be able to write a note!
I believe that:
If you think you want to live your life for God, then say this prayer, believe it, and watch your life change for the better. It may not be dramatic, it may not be instant, but, be strong and courageous, for with God on your side, you CAN do anything!
Dear Lord,
There is nothing you can't do, and my life is better when you are near.
I have doubted and I've got things wrong. I'm sorry!
I'm getting to know you, and the more I learn, the more I want to be closer to You.
You've been there all my life, and I want You to show me the best way to live my life for You.
I want to give my life to You right now.
Thank you God.

The best advice I can give is to find yourself a church to go to and talk about the decision you've made. The people there will help you to make sense of things and support you as you begin this new journey.
John 3:16. For God so loved the world that He gave His only son that whoever believes in Him shall not die but have eternal life.

- Jesus died for me, to forgive me for my sins (and lets face it, there have been loads of them!!!) (John 3:16)
- God has a plan for me, which is to let me have a great life. (Jeremiah 29:11)
- God is on my side - therefore I'm part of the winning team! (Romans 8:31)
- Things might not always go the way I want them to, but God will always give me what I need, each and every day. (Matthew 6:11)
- I need to stay true to myself, and always follow God, wherever He leads me. (Luke 9:56-58)
